33 Being therefore lifted high by and to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promised [blessing which is the] Holy Spirit, He has made this outpouring which you yourselves both see and hear.
One of the things I enjoy about being a believer is praying. I like to pray but I am constantly struggling to start. However, once I start, it is usually a blast. One definition of prayer is talking to God. However for me, prayer is being with God.
You can talk to someone on the phone but you cannot be with that person no matter how close you get to the real experience. Prayer time for me is always all encompassing. Anything can happen because I am the presence of the King.
In my most recent experience, as I got into the intensity and fervency of the session, I heard the word ‘outpouring’ in my spirit. The session ended and the word began to follow me around like a companion. What are you outpouring Lord? I believe He said, ‘fill in the gaps’. That amounted to a blank cheque with which I could withdraw anything I wanted from Heaven’s banks, what the Bible calls ‘His riches in glory’. That is exactly what I did.
An outpouring of His mercy
An outpouring of His grace
An outpouring of His favor
An outpouring of His love
An outpouring of His wisdom
An outpouring of His discernment
An outpouring of His healing
An outpouring of His youth
An outpouring of His blessings and prosperity
The outpouring of His goodness- what more could I ask?
That same outpouring could be yours, if you simply tap into His presence. Find the time. Make the time. Anything can happen when you seek God. When the Bible says all things are possible, it is particularly true for people who will search Him out with all their hearts. You have the liberty to fill in the gaps as they apply to you. An outpouring of _____________. He is faithful to those who seek Him with all their hearts.
Have a blessed week.
